If you’re like us and spend much of your time finding ways to do things a better the best way possible, and you are interested in sharing the things you discover with a wide audience - we’d be happy to have you on board.

Qualifications

None really. Nothing formal at least. You don’t need to be a professional writer, an IT industry insider, or a super tech guru.

However, we are looking for people that have a lot of creativity, excitement towards this type of topic, and the ability to explain things with both clarity and colour.

Due to the nature of our site’s subject matter, we need writers who can deliver very direct and easy to follow instructions, while doing so with a interesting (and jovial) flair.

Do we pay?

In short, yes. Generally speaking, we do this for the love of the subject matter, and for a desire to share information with others. As this is a core value for us, we believe it should also be important to our writers.

That said, we would like to reward our writers as much as we can for their hard work in helping make this site the first stop for people looking for tips, tricks and mods for their every day things.

We use what we feel is a fair and generous revenue sharing model for writer payments. How much a writer makes depends on two things.

1. How much revenue the site brings in.
2. How many posts the writer submits in the payment period.

70% of all revenue generated from the site is divided amongst the writers based on the number of posts they’ve written during the quarterly payment period.

What you’ll need to write for us

Minimum requirements for being a writer are:

• A computer with an Internet connection.
• A love for customizing everything around you.
• An ability to write with passion, colour and clarity.
• A basic understanding of HTML is a bonus for formatting (we have guides for this).
• A basic understanding of image editing is a bonus (we also have guides for this).
• A PayPal account, as this is how we pay you.
